Fun to play
If it isn’t fun to play, I keep working on it.
A solo game studio
I love games. My favorites are the funny, weird ones. Those are the games I hope to make.
What matters
If it isn’t fun to play, I keep working on it.
A strange detail or an odd turn can make a game feel like its own thing.
I pay attention to controls, pacing, sound, and all the little things you notice while playing.
Devil Log Games is my solo studio. I’m making games that are fun to play, a little surprising, and a bit offbeat.
I’ve spent my career as a software developer. Now I’m putting that experience into my first commercial game. I’m researching ideas and building prototypes to figure out what this game could be.
I’m taking it one step at a time. There’s no game to show yet, just a real studio figuring out its next project.
Get in touchHow I work
I use Claude and a few other tools to get through routine tasks faster. That leaves me more time to design and test the game.
Here are a few ways those tools help:
Building gameplay, fixing bugs, shaping systems, and making small tools.
Exploring art ideas, planning UI, and using Claude through MCP to work in Blender on 3D scenes and assets.
Researching games, comparing mechanics, and trying out ideas for how they might work.
Writing tests, reproducing bugs, and looking for edge cases.
Writing docs, organizing assets, and making tools that keep work moving.
I use the tools to try things faster, but I make the creative calls and decide what goes into the finished game.
Right now
I’m still figuring out what the first game should be. Right now I’m researching ideas, making prototypes, and testing what feels promising.
Still early.
